Job Description
Responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. Starting pay is $75,000 plus commission.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project number of contacts to be made.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
- Prepare presentations and proposals.
- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to goals.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
- Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
- Comply with The company, Inc. Policy on Drug and Alcohol Abuse. As well as all other policies and procedures put in place by The company, Inc.
- Must maintain a neat appearance and a courteous, helpful and professional relationship with customers and all other contacts while on the job.
- Maintain sufficient flexibility to be receptive to and efficiently handle requests for changes on short notice.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and telemarketing events.
- Follow-up for collection of payment.
- Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of product and services.
- Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.
- Serve as a positive role model through actions and work habits while on the job.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to perform moderate amounts of climbing, stooping, twisting and kneeling.
- Must be physically agile enough to move safely in and out of a vehicle. Must be physically capable of driving and riding in a vehicle for travel to customers for a full schedule work day.
- Must be able to communicate issues by speaking to and hearing other employees and customers.
