Job Description

Overview:

We’re looking for a dependable, customer-oriented Route Driver to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our company by delivering products, picking up returns, and building strong relationships with our customers. Your professionalism, positive attitude, and forward-thinking approach will play a key role in ensuring a great customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver products to customers and retrieve returns for warehouse processing
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through face-to-face interaction
  • Proactively ask customers about additional needs or how we can improve service before each departure
  • Identify and report new business opportunities or service gaps to the sales team
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company courteously at all times
  • Communicate with sales and warehouse management about any customer-related observations
  • Load and unload trucks at the beginning and end of each day as needed
  • Inspect vehicle for mechanical and safety issues; report concerns and perform preventative maintenance
  • Follow all driving laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Operate the delivery truck safely and respectfully when entering and exiting customer locations
  • Report any incidents, violations, or vehicle defects immediately

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must have at least 1 year of delivery/driving experience
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs
  • Clear and professional communication skills
