Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Immediate opportunities for reliable Maintenance Workers to join the efforts of the Anne Arundel County Government. Maintenance Workers will be responsible for directing people coming to the facility, general maintenance, and upkeep of the grounds.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to perform: grass Cutting, roadside litter pick-up 
  • Cleaning buildings, maintaining grounds, digging ditches
  • Lifting up to 90 lbs. alone, lifting up to 180 lbs. with partner
  • Ability to direct traffic/trucks.
  • Ability to acquire some skill in the use of equipment and hand tools used in the area of assignment
